The farm in the vineyards
Our farm is renovated from an old farmhouse which is in the hills of Monteveglio , City of Wine and historical heart of the Val Samoggia , halfway between Bologna and Modena. This valley hillside , the flagship of the province of Bologna , is rich in historical sites , tourist , gastronomic and natural attractions , and offers the visitor a wide range of opportunities.
Some of excellence in the area : the medieval village of Bazzano and to Monteveglio which houses an ancient abbey in the year one thousand of an extensive Regional Park , Zola Predosa historic capital of mortadella , Savigno known center of interest for fans of the truffle , Spilamberto with Coterie of traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena. Within a radius of 20km there Maranello, Modena and Bologna.
The complex is located in the vineyards dell'Az . Agr. Bonfiglio . Homonymous winery produce the popular local wines which is dedicated to each of the 'Rooms of Bacchus'. We will be happy to take you for a guided tour in the cellar where you can taste and buy good wines from Colli Bolognesi. You can visit the cellar website at www.bonfigliovini.it
Our rooms:
The farmhouse "Rooms of Bacchus" has 4 double rooms and 2 apartments. Each of the 6 rooms (three with internal setting to clear greenish color to draw white wines, three with internal setting to ruby red to recall the red wines) takes its name from one of our wines: Pignoletto, Bacca D'Oro and Alba in Vigna (for whites), Barbarot, Rosso Bologna and Baraldesco (for reds).
